Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, our guests all said how fantastic you sounded. For me, you exceeded all great expectations we had of you on the night, both in terms of your performance and also your communication and courtesy to everyone. Each time I went to sit down (and many others would agree I’m sure), you started playing another absolute banger, and I got up dancing again because I didn’t want to miss a minute of it. We can’t thank the Big Papas enough for making our wedding day so perfect! The contact beforehand was amazing, so professional, and helped with song ideas. The guys were absolute dreams to have around on the night. If you get a chance to see them at a showcase you won’t be disappointed - they are so talented! We booked our band really early on in the planning process. We knew we wanted a f and after seeing a video of them playing a Disney compilation we knew ther were the band for us! The guys were amazing, fantastic voices, and so talented on their instruments. We had my brother and sister sing our first dance and the guys were so accommodating of this, letting them use their equipment and gave them thunderous applause. Lovely to see showmen happy to share their stage! After I got changed and the guys found out we had gotten engaged at Be Our Guest in Disney world, they invited us up for a second "'first 99 dance (which was easier in second outfit!) Everyone raved about our entertainment and we couldn't agree more; the band were the perfect fit for us!

Wow. We found the big papas online during lockdown, their videos are excellent but not a touch on how amazing they are in real life. They absolutely smashed our first dance song and all the rest. The guys were tremendous on Sunday. They have added to their fan base. Nothing was too much trouble. They were excellent. Super talented. There were Swedish and Belgian pro golfers as guests who simply loved them, as much as we did.
The crowd dwindled but mainly down to the drink prices. The remainder were Scots and Geordies.
The happy couple were chuffed with the genuine attention the guys gave them.

The band were absolutely fantastic. They arrived in plenty of time and looked really smart with the waistcoats which helped add to the atmosphere. We had been in touch asking beforehand discussing our first dance song and although we did get sent a preview the performance on the night absolutely knocked it out the park. It was exactly what we wanted.
The set list was amazing and the band had a really great energy. Everyone was dancing all night and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the music. I got to talk to the guys when the music stopped for the buffet and they were all genuine nice guys who seemed to to really enjoy what they do which definitely came across in their performance.
Lastly I'd just like to say a special thank you for the moment you gave my wife and I when you played "Beauty and the Beast". We are both huge Disney fans and I thought the bridesmaids or someone had requested the band to play that song, but it turns out that they had just seen our wedding cake and thought we would like it. It was an amazingly thoughtful gesture and one of my fondest memories of our wedding day.
I couldn't recommend the big Papas highly enough and hope my wife and me will get to see them perform again soon.

We got married at Dalziel Park on Friday the 17th June. Our wedding fantastic, particularly at night. We had The Big Papas play and they just created such an amazing atmosphere. Everyone was up on the dance floor and at one point we even had a dance off between the guys and the girls. It was hilarious, fun and exciting! Jamie, the lead singers voice was just sensational!!! The few days after the wedding, i couldn't believe how many of my guests were commenting on how amazing the band were and everyone was asking where we found them. What a night! We booked The Big Papas after seeing them at a showcase performance. Jamie's massive bluesy voice instantly stood out, as did the inclusion of a saxophonist giving the cover songs a very welcome and interesting twist. Feeling very impressed by the performance we went ahead and booked. From the point of making the booking, the band were total professionals and we had all of the arrangements in place really quickly (which was relieving given the million and one other things we still had to organise).On the night itself we couldn't be happier. The band kicked off with our first song, a brilliant version of "Need your love so bad" in the style of Fleetwood Mac. Even by the end of the first song the whole dance floor had filled up and it remained this way for the entire evening. The Big Papas kept the dance floor alight with a blend of classic and contemporary covers that kept our guests from ages of 6 to 76 bopping away all night. They had great stage presence and their good sense of humour shone throughout their performance. At the end of the night the guys told us they were absolutely gutted the night had ended so soon (we only had the venue until 11.30pm) and wished they could have played on longer! This was a feeling shared by all in attendance! Since the night of the wedding we have received nothing but total praise about The Big Papas from a large number of our guests. We would happily (and indeed effusively!) recommend The Big Papas to anyone planning their big day, these guys are a pleasure to work with and most importantly they really know how to rock out!" -Giffnock 28th May 2016.I deliberately didn't mention our little performance because I imagine that isn't something you'd necessarily encourage at all of your gigs! Thomas and I couldn't have been happier with our choice of wedding band, The Big Papas, for our big day on May 21st, 2016. We picked them after looking through and listening to many, many different bands - the vocals of lead singer Jamie really stood out, and they gave the impression of a group of nice guys, having fun. On the day, Jamie sang an acoustic set for our reception and the band arrived in plenty of time - not the easiest feat as our wedding was in the middle of nowhere. We were off doing post-ceremony photos, but many guests remarked to us that it was the perfect background for the reception. Quiet enough to talk, but still engaging. For the main event, we asked The Big Papas to do some ceilidh with calling and then their normal set for the rest of the night. Our wedding was full of international guests and the band did a great job of instructing them what to do, all with a great sense of humour. Everyone loved it! As for the band's main set, it was brilliant. A great mixture of old and new, and when the dancing took a little while to get going (as with every wedding) the band definitely knew their tricks to get people up and moving. For the rest of the night, the floor was filled. We left the song decision up to the band (they're the experts) and we're glad we did as they knew what they were doing. We can fully recommend The Big Papas - friendly guys with a fantastic sound and a great sense of humour. They were really professional (Craig responded quickly to every email) and the saxophone player was amazing too - everyone has been raving about them since

After a lot of auditioning on youtube. We decided to book " The Big Papas " for our wedding. We were both so excited to meet and hear the band perform at our wedding on the 14h May 2016. We though the unique sound of their voices along with accompanying sax was right up our street. The guys thoroughly entertained us and our guests throughout the course of the evening....wish they could have stayed longer! We've just arranged our 1 month anniversary party (any excuse) and if only we had the funds we'd have them back in a heartbeat. Loved you guys and hopefully see you again soon. Xxxx
